Splinterlands: 50 Chaos Legion packs full of surprises

It's been a while since I have opened some packs in Splinterlands, thus I thought of moving ahead and opening 50 Chaos Legion packs. Will it be now the moment when I draw a Legendary Gold foil or not? As always, the excitement comes from not knowing what is waiting behind each reveal. There could be some powerful additions to my armies, a few Gold Foils to boost my collection or perhaps that one spectacular card that makes the entire opening worthwhile.

So, with the anticipation is building up, let me get straight to business and see what the cards have prepared for me this time.

Draw 1

The first draw was pretty boring and disappointing. Not only that I didn't get any Legendary foils, but neither any Epic ones. The only good thing that I can see in it is that I get two Archons - Kelva Frendul. Besides that quite a bit of Rare cards which I hope will help me to maybe level up.

Draw 2

The second draw started in the same shadow as the first one, but as I have moved along it got better. I got few Gold foils, but they were just rare and common - Dhampir Stalker and Radiated Scorcher. At least I have got an Epic card - Prismologist and few Archons - Tarsa. Besides this nothing else to get excited about. But while the first two draws weren't as good, maybe the third one will change my luck. Let's see!

Draw 3

The third draw got much better as two Legendaries showed themselves - Conqueror Jacek and Uriel the Purifier. Besides these I got also some Epic foils - one Magi of Chaos and two Wave Brood. As I play quite a lot the Water element the Wave Brood might help me a lot. Nonetheless quite a bit of rare Archons close this draw - one General Sloan, two Obsidian and three Thaddius Brood. A lot of goodies on this one, let the party continue!

Draw 4

The forth draw was crazy good as it almost rained with Legendaries - two Possibilus The Wise (also an Archon), one Ifrit Rising and two Voidmaw. I couldn't believe as some of these Legendaries came in two, so that was quite exciting. And besides this I am happy that I got also two Epic cards - Djinn Inferni and Magi Necrosi, but also two Rare cards that I play them quite often - Mycelic Slipspawn. An amazing draw!

Draw 5

The fifth draw concluded the Legendaries party with two other cards - Torrent Spawn. An Epic card joined the party - Igor Darkspear and some other Rare cards that I will put to work as well. This closes the draws and I am quite happy about what I got.

And just like that, another batch of 50 Chaos Legion packs got opened! The Gold Foil Legendary hunt continues and while this opening didn't quite deliver what I'm dreaming about, there were still plenty of useful cards like Epics, Gold Foils, Legendaries and Archons to strengthen my collection. That's the excitement and adrenaline that I get out of opening packs in Splinterlands — I never know what the next reveal will bring. Sometimes I might get exactly what I'm hoping for and sometimes the big prize stays hidden for another day. And some other times I might get what I need to level up some cards or to expand my collection and be able to better strategize. But the unknown and mystery gives me the thrill to keep on unpacking packs. I still have 400 Chaos Legion packs to open and considering that I've set my mind to open them in batches of 50, I should still have few adrenaline doses. 😆

Another 50 packs down. The chase continues. Life in Splinterlands is not dull for a second!
