En el reto de esta semana quiero hablarles sobre un combo que he estado utilizando con el Splinter de Agua, en diferentes condiciones de batalla que permitan el uso de ataques melee, y el cual me ha funcionado muy bien. De hecho, me gusta mucho, y cada vez lo uso con más frecuencia. Las cartas clave en esta estrategia son: “Possibilus The Wise”, “River Hellondale” ambas del tipo legendario, pertenecientes a la edición Chaos Legión. Y “Demented Shark”, el cual es de tipo común, y pertenece a la edición Untamed/Reward.

In this week's challenge I want to tell you about a combo I've been using with the Water Splinter, in different battle conditions that allow the use of melee attacks, and which has worked very well for me. In fact, I like it a lot, and I use it more and more often. The key cards in this strategy are: "Possibilus The Wise", "River Hellondale" both of the legendary type, belonging to the Chaos Legion edition. And "Demented Shark", which is a common type, and belongs to the Untamed/Reward edition.

Usé a “Possibilus The Wise” como invocador con la finalidad de poder usar a un monstruo en la segunda posición que no tenga la habilidad “Reach” por sí mismo. Además del aumento del soporte gracias al incremento de los dos puntos de vida, y el potencial de ataque que se alcanza gracias a la habilidad “Trample”. En la primera posición usé a “Diemonshark” como tanque, ya que cuenta con un buen daño físico, escudo y vida. En la segunda posición usé a “Demented Shark”, con la finalidad de aumentar el daño físico de la composición mediante su habilidad “Inspire”, y además contribuir al daño desde la segunda línea, ya que gracias al invocador, puede hacerlo. En la tercera posición usé a “Deeplurker”, con el propósito de rematar a los monstruos enemigos con poca vida. En la cuarta posición usé a “ River Hellondale” con la finalidad de aumentar nuevamente el daño físico mediante su habilidad “Inspire”, además de dar soporte al resto de la composición cuando alguno muera mediante la habilidad “Resurrect”. Y en la última posición usé a “Wave Brood” con la finalidad de concentrar todo el daño enemigo en él, y dar tiempo que el resto de mi composición debilite a la enemiga. Una vez explicado todo esto, es más fácil entender el potencial de esta estrategia, el cual consiste en potenciar el daño físico, y aplicarlo al máximo contra el oponente gracias a la habilidad “Trample”. Cabe destacar que juego en la liga de Plata del formato Moderno, por lo que mi análisis se centra en tales niveles.

Having explained all this, it is easier to understand the potential of this strategy, which is to enhance the physical damage, and apply it to the maximum against the opponent thanks to the ability "Trample". It should be noted that I play in the Silver league of the Modern format, so my analysis is focused on such levels.

Para el turno 6 de la ronda 2, mi Wave Brood ya había muerto y resucitado pero el Blinding Reflector enemigo había caído, y su Magi of Chaos también gracias a mi Deeplurker. El enemigo ya sólo contaba con 4 monstruos mientras mi composición seguía completa.

Y en el turno 7 de la ronda 4, Demented Shark cerró la batalla con una victoria después de abatir al último monstruo enemigo. Cabe destacar que la única carta que murió de mi estrategia fue Wave Brood debido a su rol pero el resto continuó de pie hasta al final, con ganas de seguir luchando. By turn 9 of round 3, Demented Shark took down Adelade Brightwing. Leaving the enemy with only 2 monsters. And on turn 7 of round 4, Demented Shark closed the battle with a victory after taking down the last enemy monster. It should be noted that the only card that died of my strategy was Wave Brood due to its role but the rest continued standing until the end, eager to keep fighting.
