Good afternoon, Paloma. A short but very interesting trip. Leaving aside many beautiful things like those views of the Pyrenees, like the cover of the publication, that magnificent fountain (and great photograph), the spectacular building facades, what stood out most to me was the grocery store and that entrance to the Casino.
I stood in front of that door for a few minutes to really look at the details; it's amazing. 😍
That carved wooden door is a delight to behold. Very elegant, and the ornamental motifs are very much of their period, but I love them.
Again, thank you so much for taking us on this journey. 😀

Buenas tardes, Paloma. Un viaje corto pero que muy interesante, dejando de lado muchas cosas bonitas como esas vistas al Pirineo, como la portada de la publicación, esa magnífica fuente (y gran fotografía), las fachadas de los edificios, todas espectaculares, dejando a un lado todo ésto, me quedo con la tienda de ultramarinos y con esa puerta de entrada al Casino.
He estado parado delante de esa puerta durante algunos minutos para ver bien los detalles, es una "pasada". 😍
Esa puerta de madera tallada es una gozada para la vista. Muy elegante y los motivos ornamentales muy de la época, pero me encantan.
De nuevo, muchas gracias por llevarnos de viaje. 😀

La tienda es muy chula, la ambientación está cuidada y realmente parece que el tiempo no ha pasado. Sé que también tienen una bodega, pero nunca he estado allí.
En cuanto al casino, es un ejemplo más de los locales para personas ricas de principios del siglo XX, donde hacían sus negocios mientras se tomaban unas copas, fumaban puros y jugaban a las cartas. 🤣 Como nota curiosa, allí termina el desfile de los Reyes Magos y salen a saludar al balcón. También es donde hacen celebraciones deportivas.
