I overstretched myself for a new customer

Hello everyone @needleworkmonday community I hope you all had a beautiful day And i am really glad we all made it to a new month
)
I am hoping this new month will bring us more peace and laughter, let's just be positive. I really want to share with you all how my day went . Truthfully it was hectic I was over stressed and worn out but the good new is that i was able to accomplished the task i was given.

There's this lady that i know from afar,i believe she's a nice person.
She's good in complimenting my work and she had promised me that someday I'll sew for her.
I was glad she liked my clothes and i was anticipated for the day i can do same for her .

But unfortunately her case was that of emergency.
As a tailor or fashion designer you know how draining or uncomfortable some works are especially when we are out of time.

She came to my shop on Wednesday with some fabrics.
I was glad she finally came but she needed an urgent work, she told me she had a presentation somewhere on first of August which was just two days ahead
I was shocked and confused,i explained to her that i had alot of clothes yo deliver, but she begged and sounded desperate i had no option than to help out
Moreover it was her first time with me.

So i stretched myself out from my comfort zone just to please my new customer.
On Thursday morning i got my pattern paper ready because i wasn't too sure of myself especially in rushing state

Here are few materials i used

  • Crepe fabric (two different colours)
  • Scissors
  • Measuring tape
  • Pattern paper.

After completing some customer's clothes, this was around 1pm i started cutting out her pattern.
Please permit me for some incomplete pictures
I was really in a rush and how i managed to get some pictures was challenging, also it was dark inside the shop, the weather has not been friendly it was raining and drizzling.
I tried as fast as possible to to finished up on time since she was coming to pick it up in the evening time
I spent hours upon hour before i could finish it up.
And i am glad i did.
I felt exhausted and tired it getting late i had to take few pictures immediately the rain stop and i waited for her to pickup her dress.
Again she came late but she apologized for it.
It wasn't her intention, there was no vehicle to pick her down since it was raining almost throughout the day.
Well, she loved what she saw,i adjusted the sleeves again for her and it fitted her well.

She was so glad and i am happy too, that her first work for me came out well.

Thank you so much for going through this post.
