Hello everyone @needleworkmonday it's been a lovely and amazing new week
I hope this week will be great and less of achieving.

I had some left over fabrics and I didn't know what to do with them.
But I kept it knowing fully well that some day I'll use it.
During the weekend I had an idea of combining both fabrics to make a gown,I selected two fabrics out
I got the ones that would compliment each other especially in colour combinations.
The ones I choose was a plain colour fabric and ankara fabric

The first step i took was to choose a simple style that will be enough for the fabric
So I decided to make a gown.
The shoulder measurements was with the sleeve
It was a free gown I needed, so I had also taken my burst measurements, the waist, hips and the full length

With the ankara fabric, decided to use it to create gathers,I used hand needle in creating the gathers before pressing it firmly using the sewing machine.

Finally,my gown was ready and it came out perfectly well.
I guessed the combinations fitted more than I had envisaged.

I love this beautiful combination, it looks so beautiful and easy to make. Thanks for sharing, now I have an idea to make anytime I have left over fabric like this.
