Hand Embroidery | Needle Work

(edited)

Greetings!!!

Today is the 10th of June 2024, a date that will be written in history. Don't tell anyone, it's a secret. Yes, a secret. Today, NOOR CHAUDHARY tried needlework for the first time. Oh my god, shocking, right?

Not once, not twice, but three times I worked just for #needleworkmonday. I know I'm hardworking and no one can compete with me. šŸ™ŒšŸ˜‚

First of all, I thought I should draw a butterfly and then write on it "Women as butterflies." I tried it, but unfortunately, the butterfly I started to make was much bigger than me. I couldn't complete it in a whole day. I worked on it but thought I shouldn't create them horizontally when I started doing needlework on the butterfly's thorax, eye portion, and abdomen. They are supposed to be made vertically so they will look much prettier. Instead of reworking it, I moved on to the next step where I designed the butterfly's wings. This whole process took 2 hours and 50 minutes, approximately 3 hours. After continuously focusing on it for 3 hours, I realized that I should try something easier as I'm a beginner.

After getting tired of making a butterfly, I moved on to making a "baby doll with a bun". I started making her shirt, but halfway through, I noticed that the threading was not clear and didn't look good. Initially, I made the doll's hair brown color, but when I was about to finish, I realized that I had run out of thread. I couldn't complete her hair with the same thread. My sister suggested that I continue using a different thread and pretend that her hair is dyed. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜œ But I don't like her idea. I remade her hair with black thread which looks weird so I decided to make her bun look like a flower. suddenly my elder sister arrived and told me that I couldn't make this. this is not looking so good. just try simple flowers as a beginner. I said okay you are my elder she must be right so I removed all the threads and started to make the flower.

šŸ¤„
That doll takes 1.5 hours to make but my sister rejects it. So the flower I want to make is in red. I don't like the red color but my younger sister forced me to make it so finally the thing which satisfied me was flowers. it's not perfect but at least I completely make it.

Material

  • Red and yellow thread
  • Frame
  • Pencil
  • Compass to draw a circle
  • Needle

Procedure

First, I draw a circle to form the perfect shape of the flower, and then I begin embroidering it.

When I started embroidering the flower I found it difficult to thread the needle. I think it's because I was tired of making embroidery for the whole day. Finally, after 25 minutes, I was about to complete the flower.

When I complete the flower I realize that the petals are too much distant from each other. I should fill the gap by filling it once again.

Finally, after the second time, I achieved the best flower. you can also see the change is clear and now the flower is actually looking like a flower.

By using the yellow thread. I like making the center of the flower. I complete it with a yellow thread. and I think this combo is not looking bad.

When I tried to remove the pencil from the side of the flower it wasn't removed. it was destroying my flower. so decided to make a new design that covers the pencil color. by using yellow thread I make a beautiful design. You can see the full look.

I hope you like my hard work I believe hard work pays off. please rate my flower. Also, watch the whole process of flower-making in the video. Thanks for being here.
