Let's Crotchet A Baby Gown.

Some weeks ago, I shared my first Crotchet here. Today, I'll be sharing the fourth one. Yes.🤭

I'm so excited for the growth so far and I know that it'd get to a time where I don't need to count it because, I would have become perfect at this skill.

I made a gown for my pretty daughter. Let's see the steps I took.

Before we proceed, I might not be able to share all the steps as the phone I used to take some of the pictures got spoilt and I had to get a new phone. In other words, I lost most of the pictures.

However, I will explain each step to you.

First, I started with a long chain and after that, I made the part for the chest. It wasn't long enough here though, so I added more to the top. Then, I proceeded to making a different pattern and making a flare out of it.

After I completed it, I proceeded to joining the two sides together to make a gown out of it as intended.

I joined them together using my crotchet pin and yarn. Then, here's the final outcome after the joining together.

So, here was the complete crotchet. But, I knew it wasn't going to end this way as I wasn't satisfied with it being just plain. Initially, I wanted to crochet the hand as well but I decided to do something else to make it look more colourful.

So, here was me checking to see if this would go. I love the colour blue actually. 😅

I arranged it to see how it would look like and it came out well. So, I proceeded to using my needle and thread to stitch them together.

Here was after I had stitched them together. I also added to the down of the gown so it would look more beautiful.

Then, I had to make something to add to the hand. I got this and checked if it was going to work out and it actually did.

Then, I also stitched them to the gown and here is the final outcome.

What do you think? Do you think there are areas I need to improve in? I'd love to learn. 😁

So, what next do you think I'll be making?

Thank you for reading through.

All images are mine.

This is really cute. I like how you mixed different kind of stitches and the colorful designs on it by not leaving it plain.
