Hive Power Up Day - September/23 [EN/PT-BR]

It's HPUD again! I think this month went by fast, and here we are again.

August was a pretty busy month for me. The picture I'm using in this cover was taken the afternoon before a "hurricane" was about to hit us, and the clouds were already moving in. This was a very rare event, as we don't usually see hurricanes here, and in the end it lost it's strength and got us as a weak tropical storm. But as you can see it gifted us with a beautiful sunset. In Rio de Janeiro, where I used to live, there were storms a lot worse then this all summer long, so I guess I'm used to it.

It's suppose to be high season for my business (we usually have more work during summer), but this year it has been a little slower. I guess people are spending less money because of the interest rates that are higher then ever. I'm curious to see how the economy will be in the next 6-12 months, as these rates are not coming down fast. At least I had more time to spend with my kids before they had to go back to school from summer break.

This month I'm powering up 300 Hive again, and I'm reaching 9400 HP, getting close to the 10k mark. Lately I've been focusing in getting my HP higher. This month I will complete 2 years on Hive, and over the time I learned how important it is to grow my stake to help my community have more influence in the ecosystem. We all need to grow together.

É HPUD de novo! Acho que esse mês passou rápido, e aqui estamos nós novamente.

Agosto foi um mês bastante agitado para mim. A foto que estou usando nesta capa foi tirada na tarde anterior à chegada de um "furacão", e as nuvens já estavam se aproximando. Esse foi um evento muito raro, pois não costumamos ver furacões aqui e, no final, ele perdeu a força e nos atingiu como uma fraca tempestade tropical. Mas, como você pode ver, ela nos presenteou com um lindo pôr do sol. No Rio de Janeiro, onde eu morava, havia tempestades muito piores do que essa durante todo o verão, então acho que já estou acostumado.

Agora deveria ser alta temporada para o meu negócio (geralmente temos mais trabalho durante o verão), mas este ano tem sido um pouco mais lento. Acho que as pessoas estão gastando menos dinheiro por causa das taxas de juros, que estão mais altas do que nunca. Estou curioso para ver como a economia vai ficar nos próximos 6-12 meses, pois os juros não vão baixar rapido. Pelo menos tive mais tempo para passar com meus filhos antes de eles voltarem para a escola depois das férias de verão.

Este mês, estou fazendo um power up de 300 Hive novamente e estou chegando a 9400 HP, e me aproximando da marca de 10k. Ultimamente, tenho me concentrado em aumentar meu HP. Neste mês, completarei dois anos na Hive e, ao longo desse tempo, aprendi como é importante aumentar minha participação para ajudar minha comunidade a ter mais influência no ecossistema. Todos nós precisamos crescer juntos.
