It's not really that way for Americans. You might see it here and there, and you will likely see it in the states with immigrant families, but not so much with straight Americans. I don't see a problem with the volleyball players. Better than sitting on the couch all day.
I totally agree, it is great they are being active. I was just surprised that there are such players, I think I am out of touch with modern sports.
