"Introvert Talks" is meant to be a new initiative or theme, where I myself as an introvert, just talk about reflections and thoughts about my life, or maybe share more personal stuff. :)
This is my weekly post under this "Introvert Talks" theme and let's see where it takes me and us.
First post of 2026 for my "Introvert Talks" series!
Time flies. I remember starting this personal series back in Nov 2024, and this will be the 46th post already!
Anyway, enough of the statistics. I actually wanted to talk about my reflection on what's happening in the world. I don't know about you, but these days, I just feel like there's just so much going on in the world. I have the habit of reading a variety of sources, whether it's mainstream media or social media, and it seems like everyone or every platform has their own perspective and interpretation of the events.
To put it bluntly, everyone only believes what they want to believe.
And to some extent, it's kind of scary. Because this makes reaching consensus almost impossible, and needless to say, having unity across different groups is probably impossible.
As just an average human being among 8 billion others in the world, I don't think there's much impact I could make, except to watch the events unfurl and reflect upon them. Other than that, ultimately my actual life takes precedence, my life, my health, my loved ones, my work, etc, because these are the things that I can actually make an impact on.
And that's why, no matter how troubled the world might seem, I think there's always room for optimism. Technology and AI seems to be taking off fast and we need to ask ourselves how to stay relevant and how to leverage on such tools to improve our lives. Inflation has come down considerably as compared to the previous years and it's a good time to accumulate more savings and prepare for our future.
As for Hive, I personally hope things will be better, whether it's the amount of activity within the community, or just the price of Hive. These days, I find it relatively quiet, but this also shows who are the actual ones that have more conviction in Hive, and time will tell if our conviction is right. So if you are still reading this, thank you!
Alright, that's all I have for this first post of 2026 for this series. What has happened has already happened, I guess we should move on and look towards to the remaining 354 days of the year! And enjoy more good coffee (or whatever food you like) too! :P

100% agree! As you I try to view life in a positive way. Nothing is only bad, well, almost nothing. Anything, well almost anything, has good sides as well as bad sides. Focus on the good is what in the end gives us a good feeling.
