But am concerned there is possibility that originality won’t be measured by depth or honesty anymore, but by detectable imperfection. If we start editing ourselves to avoid sounding TOO GOOD, we’re not just reacting to AI, instead we are letting it redefine what authenticity looks like. This is similar to what a professor in my school said. He said that maybe the real challenge ahead isn’t showing that we didn’t use AI, but standing our ground and saying that clear thinking, care, and good writing are still human things.
