I will soon turn 50 myself as well and this turning point is kind of bringing about my midlife crisis. I'm pretty happy with how things turned out for me but it is difficult to not feel some tinge of regret...even if you don't really know what it is about or why you are feeling slightly sad.

That's kind of exactly how I feel. It's not a full on midlife crisis or anything like that, but as I said to someone else, just this underlying sort of sorrow.
