We have avoided many of these problems precisely because we do not have a Discord server for the @fulldeportes community.
We believe that cross-talk on Discord does not add value to Hive, and by not having a server, our members are forced to interact within the blockchain.
Our founder has always believed that more transactions are generated within the chain when community members are forced to ask questions in the weekly community posts.
As such, our experience can be incredibly valuable to other HIVE communities.
Since a misused word on Discord can be misinterpreted, people are more careful when exchanging opinions within the chain.

I understand what you are saying, but it just doesn't always work that way. I've seen in happen over and over. They even added chat to PeakD hoping it would move stuff away from Discord, but it just doesn't happen. Even the top witnesses use Discord for different things. I can't really engage in the Full Deportes community because the guidelines specify it is Spanish only. That's why I quit putting my sports content there.

Yep, we wanted a niche that was different from Sports Talk Social, where English was the mandatory language.
