Oh, it's definitely not for everyone. I'm actually surprised I enjoy it so much given the amount of sitting still you have to do, but if you are in the right circumstances it's quite meditative. I've been alone at a lake in the UP of Michigan without a single soul for miles and it's so zen. Even when the fish aren't biting.
