Haha yes, my parents still have those map books. I used to spend so much time looking at each state. Turning the radio down is a must. Concentration is key!

my parents travel by RV for leisure and while they do not need it, they mark their paths on a giant road atlas with a highligher just so they can see all the places they have been. Obviously the GPS is a much better way of getting around because it updates road changes but they are nostalgic and there is nothing at all wrong with that
