We Are Too Early .:. WorkerBee PH-Pool Week 258
I have probably written about this topic (a couple of times) before, but it's important as some of you can relate to it... The connection of this title and the photo under it is that I took it early on the Sunday morning... As in this part of Spain, we don't have those gorgeous sunsets over the sea, but we do have sunrises like this... Or even better when you get really early... 😃

Back to the topic... In my crypto journey for these 8+ years, I had multiple ups and downs, and it wasn't a smooth ride at all... While in the bull market, you have no time to think about anything... The level of dopamine is high, and everyone is high in the sky... When a bear comes, doubts arise... To be honest, it's not only like that in different stages of markets, but the same happens in different stages of life, or doing some job... We all have doubts, suspicions in our decisions, especially in troubled times...
As the life experience accumulates (simplified, getting older 😂), you can look back in the past and "explain" (or make an excuse) some of your moves and decisions, especially knowing other circumstances that happened after them... I had a couple of moments in my life where I was "TOO EARLY" into something...
For example, one of my first adventures was launching a motosport website back in the early 2000's (I shared some of the history in this post), when I was searching for a space to talk about it... There were 4-5 car (paper) magazines in those times, but not a good Internet website... So, I decided to build one... Firstly, creating a community about it (PHPBB forums in those days), and when I gathered a nice chunk of enthusiasts, I launched a website where some of them were helping me out with the content... The number of visitors was going up month by month, but we couldn't find any sponsors for this "futuristic move"... Instead of seeing "traditional media" coming to us, we were chasing TV shows, newspapers, etc. We were too early!
The same as The Big Short movie, where Michael Burry was too early with predicting the collapse of the real estate markets, we were too early with our website... On the contrary to him, who had enough money to finance his "earliness", we didn't have enough resources to continue with our project for more than 2-3 years... The motivation of the team vanished, and we had to close down the website... I think it was less than a year after that when something big happened... There was a huge money inflow into the car industry, and auto manufacturers were searching for marketing possibilities on the Internet!!! They had bigger marketing budgets than opportunities to SPEND it!
Why am I telling this story right now? Primarily to remind myself that I was in these shoes in the past... And secondly, to remind YOU that these times can be tough and challenging... It seems that nobody cares about crypto, blockchain, and anything related to it... But, that's not true at all... It looks like that, but IMO, it's just that typical "calm before the storm"... We have never had such a positive environment for crypto and so low interest in it... Something looks wrong... Many big players don't like to buy for a high price, and this looks like some of them are quietly accumulating crypto in the background...
It's not a secret that all this "crypto positivity" is created to push (USD) stablecoins higher, in a tryout to save the US economy, and not a real "love for crypto"... But, do you think that those who made that plan aren't aware that USD is a melting cube? Do you think they are stacking USD in their bank accounts, or maybe something else?
I would like to hear your opinion about that, but also about your endeavors where you were too early into something... Or maybe just early, and monetized your timing? Please share them in the comment section...

Well said! Maybe it's even better to say, we are exactly where (and when) we have to be!
Burning out is a serious issue, and it likely affects everyone... The most important thing is to handle it in the right way...
Timing is a hard thing to get right. I still think crypto can do well, but maybe the world isn't there yet.

I think this is why I mostly prefer looking at the past in moments like now with all the FUD happening to gain more perspective on how things progress. I personally can't remember what I was early on apart from playing video games online back in the early 2000s, it didn't cross my mind that money could be made from it at all. Crypto is arguably going through some growing pains right now and I'm optimistic that it will bounce back from it. The tech is needed in this day and age given what the powers that shouldn't be have on their sleeves with control and influence.
Zooming out is always the best way to cope with hard times... Having experience with similar situations in the past helps a lot with comparing and doing things better, when we have the "second" chance... 😉
Thanks for the update! Coincidentally I just bought some tokens cos I saw that they were really low today. I actually think it's easier to be early - the tougher part comes when it goes up, whether to wait or sell, should we get out at 2x or be a little greedy and wait for 5x, or hodl forever... But what if it crashes...
Hehehehe... I prefer to have those "sweet" doubts of to sell or not to sell, rather than thinking about losing 90 or 95%... 😂
I think the idea of being "too early" is something we can all understand, not only in crypto, but in many aspects of life. Not easy to accept when you find out that your ideas were ahead of their time.
The thing is that you don't realize that while you are doing... From my personal experience, I had no idea that I was too early, I thought I was wrong... The "realization" that I was doing the right steps came AFTER some time...
Of course, life experience helps out with that, but it's hard to push through early days, as you don't know how long they can take...
