Typical car salesmen is pretty sleazy but that's what they're paid to do. However, once in a while you meet a salesmen that does their job really well and highlight the pros and cons. I think a good seller is those who can personalize the needs of their customer.
I got caught up to the black and white hive has to offer sometimes but there are moments when I know that it's best to show the best and the worst part of hive. Afterall, when we learn from other apps out there, there are cons but its builders doesn't just focus on negativity. It attempts to improve it. I mean, think like facebook, it's problematic on its own but some percentage of people find that helpful.
I miss that... Somehow, I can rarely find that kind of salesperson, but maybe that's just because of my experiences from the past... lol... I'm more grumpy than I was when I was young and naive, maybe... π
What I find interesting (and problematic sometimes) is that developers almost always ask for feedback, which is great, but... After getting some criticism, not many are open to accepting them and work on their product to suit more to the end customer... Those who DO ACCEPT usually are those who succeed...
You can't expect to create a "killer product" on the first tryout! π
