With technology ever creeping into daily life,how do you plan an optimal home environment, where family are safe within well organized conditions, spaces where children can play,explore , and discover without ever watchful eye? Looking at how the society is today, creating a safe space for my family is definitely going to be my top priority.

I love traditional way of living but with a dash of modernization which I believe, is also part of the growing process.

I usually get scared thinking of some certain things that might happen if things are not placed in the right place for example,

The fear of gas cylinder exploding has always been a constant fear in me, even as a single lady, I make sure anytime am refilling my gas cylinder, the cylinder must be checked for any possible leakage, atleast it reduces that fear in me.

I will definitely make sure all electronic appliances are switched off before stepping out of the house, every power supply are installed perfectly without the possibility of sudden electric suck from one socket because as you know, children are full of curiosity and that you can't take away from them.

My cabinets, both in the kitchen and bathroom will be so high and secured from my kids, making sure all insecticides and and detergents are stored properly to avoid unnecessary hospital visit.

I remember when a little girl in my childhood environment went and drank a bottle of kerosene thinking it was water just because she was thirsty, thank goodness she survived.

I will definitely have baby monitor and surveillance camera installed, just to give me peace of mind, while the babies are sleeping,and to know those coming in and out of my home.

Playing and studying will definitely have it's own area, my kids will know where and when to have quiet time for studying and loud area for playing, so as to avoid avoidable accidents.

I love watching movies so i won't deprive my kids from having screen time, it will just be monitored, I believe this will make them know how to set priorities, as they are growing up to become an adult.

I will set boundaries on the limit of how certain discipline will be carried out, growing up I never believe in fistfight, even between siblings, most times we end up acting up, which causes more harm when i think about it.

I have seen a situation where two siblings, who were fighting, one used scissors to stab the hands of the other, just because of the rage at that moment. I will try as much as possible to avoid incidents like these in my future home.
