Did you ever wish to you a business? If yes, what is it? And if resources ( money, talent, skills, people, etc) are not an issue, would you have started it?
I grow up having a mom who owned a foodstuff shop, and that interest for business was embedded in me.
I always wonder why I didn't study business in school, as of then I never wanted to own a business venture because, I fear the interaction I will have on a daily basis.
Funny today my profession had me bring out my communication skills. Being in the Pharmacy profession for few years now, and working for a private owned premises, now I wish I can have my own premises to run.
I want to own my own community pharmacy, where I can take care of the health needs of patients around me, both geriatric, pediatric, children, and adults.
I have always had passion for health care, I can't explain the joy it gives me anytime I hear someone say "that advice or medication you prescribed for me made me feel better", and also being able to dispense medications that has good efficacy.
With all the resources being available, would I have opened my pharmacy premises, the answer is yes.
If am very confident of myself as a pharmacist, with enough experience and all, I tell you the sky would be my starting point.
I remember when I was still carrying out my internship at the hospital, oh I could open a hospital if I could, because of how everything was organized and seeing satisfaction in the faces of patients and their relatives.
I have always had this vision in mind on how i want my pharmacy premises to look like, it won't just have medication but also good and trusted skin care brands, that are safe to use, sanitary for women, baby products and the likes.
This should already tell you I have had a dream about my pharmacy premises, it just need the time for it to be actualized.
Imagine, if all these resources where available, I would have gone a long way in the growth of my premises, as you know, growing a business takes time and consistency alot of the time.

This is beautiful, I love that you have a passion for healthcare, I do too though, but since I didn't later find myself in the field, I had to let go.

Wasn't given admission all those times I wanted to go into it, in the long run, I fell sick, and it took a toll on me. So, I had to later go for something else. As at the time of my sickness sef, my doctors were amazed about the little that I know and the interest I had in the profession, but I just couldn't anymore.

Yes we do, it is mostly common in the hospital over here whereas, community pharmacy sometimes gets these kind of prescription, but we tend to prescribe over the counter medication for minor cases, such cases that does not need a prescription.
Severe cases are refered back to the hospital, in this case prescription can come back to us at a community pharmacy, if such medication is not available at the hospital.
