Hive women participating in the event: Web 3 - Women Transforming the Future [ENG-ESP]

The meaning of life can be found in those situations and circumstances that inspire us. As a woman, I feel inspired by other women when I hear them talk about the issues they are passionate about; when I see them work hard for the plans and goals they set for themselves, without letting external opinions or attitudes demotivate them; when I see them shine with their own light because they know they don't need to compete or work against someone; when they manage to handle different areas of their lives and achieve a point of balance between themselves, their plans and the world around them; when they prepare, study and strive to make changes, to undertake, to innovate, to develop, to create, to excel and to work. Last night I received a good dose of female inspiration at the event Bogotá Web 3: Women transforming the future.

Bogotá Web 3: Women Transforming the Future consisted of two interesting panels: Panel 1: Connecting Communities: Technology, Travel, Teamwork and Education and Panel 2: Innovation in Blockchain: Celebrating Diversity and Women's Leadership. It was very interesting and enriching to hear the participants' stories of how they entered the world of Web 3. Their reasons were varied, from curiosity, the need for change to ambition, but I noticed that they all had in common that desire to overcome socially imposed limits and barriers, to fight against the Status quo and challenge themselves to conquer new spaces. In the beginning, as they themselves said, they had to overcome the surprise and unfortunate comments from those who either did not believe in digital currencies or, on the other hand, did not believe that a company could be led by a woman, or a group of women.

Taking up what was said by the panelists, I am left with the idea that women have the resources to enter and develop in a Web 3 world, but we must also face the challenges that are presented to us there, and that may be related to the constant updating of information, which invites us to keep ourselves updated and continuously educating ourselves, the financing of projects and, of course, the attitude and fortitude necessary to face social stereotypes that, although many of them have been demolished, others are still a reason for women to fight.

At the end of the cycle of panels, we were able to talk to the participants to thank them and congratulate them for the work done, we talked with the girls for a while and shared contacts. It was very nice to connect with the close and human version that is behind important projects and undertakings.
This time I was accompanied by our wonderful hiver @helengutier2, and we missed the presence of @aurodivys and @virginianavas1.
It has been very interesting to actively participate in these spaces. As women creators in WEB 3 we also have many stories and experiences to share <3

El sentido de la vida lo podemos encontrar en aquellas situaciones y circunstancias que nos inspiran. Como mujer, me siento inspirada por otras mujeres cuando las escucho hablar sobre los temas que les apasionan; cuando las veo trabajar arduamente por los planes y objetivos que se trazan, sin dejar que opiniones o actitudes externas las desmotiven; cuando las veo brillar con su luz propia porque saben que no tienen la necesidad de competir o trabajar en contra de alguien; cuando logran manejar diferentes áreas de su vida y consiguen el punto de equilibrio entre ellas mismas, sus planes, y el mundo que les rodea; cuando se preparan, estudian y se esfuerzan por lograr cambios, por emprender, por innovar, por desarrollarse, por crear, por superarse y por trabajar. El día de ayer por la noche recibí una buena dosis de inspiración femenina, en el evento Bogotá Web 3: Mujeres transformando el futuro.

Bogotá Web 3: Mujeres transformando el futuro estuvo conformado por dos interesantes paneles: Panel 1: Conectando Comunidades: Tecnología, viajes, trabajo en equipo y educación y Panel 2: Innovación en Blockchain: Celebrando la diversidad y el Liderazgo Femenino. Fue muy interesante y enriquecedor escuchar las historias de las participantes de cómo se adentraron al mundo de Web 3. Sus razones fueron varias, desde la curiosidad, la necesidad de cambio hasta la ambición, pero noté que todas tenían en común ese deseo por superar los límites y las barreras impuestas socialmente, por luchar contra el Statu quo y retarse a conquistar nuevos espacios. En un principio, como ellas mismas dijeron, tuvieron que sortear la sorpresa y los comentarios desafortunados de aquellos que, o no creían en monedas digitales o, por otro lado, no creían que una empresa podía estar liderada por una mujer, o un grupo de mujeres.

Recogiendo lo dicho por las panelistas me quedo con la idea de que las mujeres tenemos los recursos para adentrarnos y desarrollarnos en un mundo Web 3, pero también debemos hacer frente a los retos que allí se nos presentan, y que pueden estar relacionados con la constante actualización de la información, que nos invita a mantenernos actualizadas y educándonos continuamente, la financiación de proyectos y, por supuesto, la actitud y entereza necesaria para enfrentarse a los estereotipos sociales que, aunque muchos de ellos se han derribado, otros siguen siendo un motivo de lucha para las mujeres.

Culminado el ciclo de paneles, pudimos acercarnos a hablar con las participantes para agradecerles y felicitarles por el trabajo realizado, hablamos un rato con ellas y compartimos contactos. Fue muy bonito conectar con la versión cercana y humana que está detrás de proyectos y emprendimientos importantes.

Ha sido muy interesante participar activamente en estos espacios. Como mujeres creadoras en WEB 3 también tenemos muchas historias y vivencias por compartir <3
