For a bettee year!!!

Yes, the year has just begun with lot of expectations and positive thoughts. Taking some time for ourselves has become a big deal with never ending commitments especially for busy housewives.

This year I definitely need to change this routine. Once the children are settled with their jobs, the parents are all alone at home. Such is my situation. Apart from my routine cooking process, I wish to spent some time on things that gives me happiness.

To be more nature friendly by spending more time in my garden and to add few more veggies, flowers, herbs and little more croton, to the existing ones, inorder to enjoy a little more fresh air. Next, to focus on knitting and tailoring, which was my passion for years, probably from school time I can say.

I should accept the fact working on Hive has made me more enthusiastic in the form of writing and interaction globally. Because most of my idle time is now used potentially giving a positive energy. Here, in this platform we have something new each day.

One meal I would love to share

lemon rice

Cooking should be made easy. But, here, in our country, you need too many curries and sidedishes with rice, being the staple food. But, at times, I prefer a one pot meal which is quite easy to cook and tastes well.

One such is the lemon rice which I make often. And infact, my family loves them a lot. Preparation is just 10 minutes. And the secret ingredient which makes its more special, is the spluttering of lentils along with mustard. It goes well with curd and chicken fry.
