Prioritizing Family Outings - LOH #215

It's so easy to get so busy in our fast-paced world trying to pursue our careers and goals and forget what's more important.
While I was reflecting on my journey in 2024 and writing down some of my goals for 2025, I realized that one of the things I would love to prioritize In the coming year is a family outing.
I made a lot of plans and places we had visited this year but was not able to achieve much; instead of going out, we did more family time at home.

Why I wanted a family outing was because it has a lot of benefits, one of which is exposure. I want my kids to get exposed to a lot of stuff. Having different new experiences would broaden their perspective about life generally and make them appreciate it. Outings will also help in their personal development.
Of course, when we as a family have a memory and experiences we share together, this would also foster a deeper connection and bond amongst us.
So in 2025, no matter how busy I may be, I would definitely set aside time for family outings, fun activities we would do together, trips, dinner dates, and even evening walks.

True. With time restraints overwhelming parent(s) of young working families that may be a problem but that should not stop us from setting aside meaningful family time together for the longer termed benefits rather than just time together. I have regretted that and have been making up for lost ground for my sons since. ❤️

Life is quite dicey.. we chase wealth and lose out on family time and we get so involved with family that we lose wealth. Reading you, I can sense that you already found a way of creating a balance between work life and family and I'm super excited for you 🤗
