Ohh yes, sadly that was the conditioning 2 to 3 decades back that every parent did to their children. Never question elders and always obey. I too believe that was so wrong, but at the same time now I see that children never want to listen to their parents. Both extremes are not good

Thank you for acknowledging that this dysfunction is dated back to decades ago. It's quite sad because I still come across many young adults who adopted the mindset from their parents.
