My family is my source of courage | Loh #305

Life is hard. Life is full of challenges. Life is littered with difficulties. If you want to avoid the challenges in life, then you can't do anything in life.

There is this saying that life won't always be a bed of roses. There will be good times and there will be challenging times. Just like you can't have light without darkness and vice versa.

When the hard time comes, when life hits you, you need to pick the courage to bounce back. Different people have their own way to do that.

You need to be able to find that courage to get back up. For me, I get that courage from my family. My family gives me the courage to keep pushing.

During moments when there were challenges, I just kept telling myself that I can't fail my family. I can't fail my parents. There's too much at stake to not keep trying. My parents have invested so much in me that I can't let them down. That's all the courage I need.

Most times, when the difficulties come, we start thinking about quitting. We begin to consider giving up. It feels like the easiest escape route. The truth is, it's easy for anyone to give up. But the easiest path rarely leads to the greatest rewards. The real winners will always be those who persevere. Those who find the courage to try again and again until things work out.

There's an infinite upside to being relentless. It doesn't mean you won't get knocked down. But the important thing is what you do after you get knocked down or challenged. One has to find reasons to keep going even when it's hard.

My family have been there for me for as long as I remember. They are always there to support. As a result, I know that whatever I'm doing to give myself a better life would also be to their advantage. Their efforts in my life deserve to be repaid a thousand folds and more. I see it as a way of showing my gratitude to them for their belief in me.

So as long as courage goes, my family is an infinite source of it for me. I am super grateful for them.
