Language I wish to learn (loh240)

Good day to you, all ladies of Hive.
Hope you are all doing okay?
In this post, I will be talking about languages and me. Presently, I speak just two languages, my mother tongue- Igbo, which is a native language of the igbo tribe in Nigeria, and I also speak English language.

At the moment, there are about 520 indigenous languages spoken in my country, Nigeria. I don't know if there's anybody out there who speaks all of them, but I know a handful of people who speak over ten, which also comprise those of the majority tribes. If I were truthful, I'd say that I haven't attempted to learn to speak other languages. I usually only strive to understand them. It's been of help to me that a number of languages here come across as quite similar in meaning and pronunciation with minor differences in tones. However, I do have an interest in learning the other two major languages here, which are Yoruba and Hausa. I know some of the basics to them, but that's all.

Outside the local language here, I would want to learn Spanish. The reason being that some of the countries that I wish to visit speak this language as their native tongue, and it will do me good to be able to understand and communicate without hinges with the people there. So, for my country, there's Yoruba and Hausa, and for a foreign language, Spanish it is.
