RE: Kindness With Limits. LOH #282

It is important to set up boundaries ahead of time, it take some decision burden off your mind. What type of need and how much will vary as life always is. Acting out of compassion is better than acting out of guilt. And there is no shame in saying no when you don't have sufficient resources.
As a former Nurse, health needs are a priority with me and to see a friend needing some money for a prescription or an over the counter pain medicine I would gladly cover. I have already took in a friend of my son who would have been homeless long enough for him to get back on his feet.
With the economy the way it is, I may have new roommate.
