So African salad is a traditional wedding dish. My local church has at least two new families from Nigeria since 2025. They come sometimes in their colorful traditional cultural wear but I've met them only on Sunday services. I have yet to attend any of their home-warming and potluck meals but I am having more reason to try the cuisine. And no need to get married.

Yes !INDEED,
In one of our last church events, a woman willfully prepared it for the sake of those people coming from the urban area.

To be candid, in my hometown, African salad is made in every event that will bring people from different walks of life just to showcase the food as one of our rich cultural heritage.

I hope you try the cuisine soon.

I will keep an eye out for a Traditional African outfit at my favorite Thrift Shops to go with the cuisine. I may just get lucky.
