LEARNING HOW TO LEARN LOH#273

(edited)

One of the things I’ve learnt to accept about life is this, the world will never slow down for anyone.

Technology is changing.
Careers are evolving.
Relationships always keep shifting.
Even the way we think today might feel outdated in five years becauce we already think differently from how we used to think 5 years ago.

Whether you’re young and trying to figure life out, or older and trying to keep up with the always changingway of life, we are all living in a constant state of transition, and that is the scary truth.

The world dosent stop rotating for anyone. That phrase has been a big part of how i view life in General.
I move about with the knowledge that its either i level up, or fall off..

Being a Faux-Polymat, i am always trying to have adequate knowledge on chosen subject, but now equipping myself with knowledge is no longer about chasing everything.
It’s about learning how to learn, and more importantly, learning how to stay emotionally grounded while doing it.

I thought knowledge meant just having answers.
Now I realize it means having better questions.

I read.
I watch.
I listen.
I observe people who are doing better than me. not to copy them blindly, but to understand how they think.
I ask myself simple things like What skills will still matter in five years? What habits are quietly holding me back? What kind of person do I want to become, not just what do I want to achieve?

From elderly people, I have learned patience.
They may not know every new tool or trend, but they understand something deeper, and it is that life is long, and most things don’t need to be rushed.
From younger people, I’ve learned curiosity. The willingness to try, to fail publicly, to learn fast and move forward without shame, so i decided to fail multiple times while i am still young.
Both groups are learning from each other, whether they realize it or not.

My biggest advice is always this.... Don’t try to master life or the world, try to understand yourself within it.

Build skills, yes.
Stay informed, yes.
But also build emotional awareness.
Build the ability to sit with uncertainty without Fear.
Because the truth is, nobody ever really arrives their destination.
We are all just upgrading ourselves in different ways, at different speeds, and with different tools.
Which is very okay.

The real skill is not knowing everything.
It is staying open, staying humble, and staying willing to grow, even when the ground keeps shifting beneath your feet.

Images are mine

That’s how I equip myself
Not by pretending I have it all figured out,
but by choosing to keep learning with honesty and at my own pace.

Faux polymath, made me smile we called it "Jack of all trades, Master of none", bit of this and a bit of that.

Good to keep grounded learning what is required or not needed at all.
