Christmas is a season of festivity that commemorates the birth of Jesus, its a season of gift sharing and spreading love. Magical is something supernatural that dominates natural force.
My Christmas magical wish would be for the REUNION OF MY IMMEDIATE FAMILY, spending the Christmas together with Dad, Mom, my senior sister, I and the three junior siblings is something that can only happen with supernatural force. Firstly because seniors sister is late and buried it's only something magical that's can reunite her with us alive. Another reason is because mom and dad has a very serious misunderstanding that I know before they can come back together also needs a supernatural force.

What actually happened is what I don't know and none of them is telling me what I need to hear, all I know is that mom was the one handling the family responsibilities alone. Mom did different kinds of job to keep the family going until she wasn't able to so anymore.
Mom sold fruits in front of our house then, Dad was into furniture-making, we attended one of the best nursery and primary school. As a child everything was perfect not knowing there was more to what I saw. House rent was due and we didn't renew, our landlord then sent some guys to pack our properties out of the house and the guys also went away with some of our electronics like TV, generator, electric cooker and so on. (Maybe they were instructed by the landlord to do so... Probably for the debt).
The family separated, mom had to go stay at her elder sister's place with one of my brothers while the rest of us (me, senior sister and the twins) had to stay with Dad's younger sister, I don't know where dad was exactly. Maybe at work or at a friend's place because aside good furniture-making business (which later crumbled because of a fire outbreak) he works with a building construction company that travels to different states where they have a building contract.

We had to stop school for sometime, mum hawked banana and groundnut at her sisters place and was able to send my brother to school again while we attended a public primary school. Mum frequently visited us at my aunt's place but dad barely visited.
Mum was able to get a job with a poly producing company that gave her an apartment so mom came for I and my siblings, we were able to go to a good school once again. Mombwas always busy with work as it really took her time she worked sometimes for 24 hours straight but we never lacked. Dad suddenly showed up in the new apartment after some months but that was only when mom wasn't around, he will just visits but will leave before mom returns.

One day he came when mom was at home since mom saw that we were happy with his presence she allowed him stay. But he was not always around because of work. Dad got into a quarrel that resulted to a fight with one of our neighbors, that night the neighbor sent for the cops to arrest him. Mom wasn't aware cus she was on night shift, dad came back in the morning saying that he was bailed by one of his friends. Whenever he was around he was always getting into quarrel. The owner of the company where mom worked told her not to allow dad stay in the house but she still allowed him stay with us, so they retrieved the house and the search for another apartment begun again. Luckily the owner of the company gave her time till she was able to get another apartment and he transferred her to another branch closer to the new house.
She paid for two years first in the new apartment then she paid for another two years. Mom lost her job in the poly producing company but got another job with the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Team as a cleaner. Dad stayed with us but as usual he was not always around, he traveled for work (It was either Enugu state or Abuja) we only spoke to him on phone but he visited once in a while. The closest he was around was when he was working close to the Redeemed Christian Church of God camp ground, then he came back every weekend. whenever he was around he spends time with us (his children) he plays with us but dad was very strict.

The rent was due again and Mom wasn't able to pay this time because her new job wasn't paying big like the first. She couldn't do all things she used to effectively, so this time she asked Dad to please pay for the rent. He didn't and we had to relocate to Akwa Ibom state.
Dad never visited, we only spoke on phone like once in months, he didn't care to see his family (probably because Mom was staying in her family house) not until five years did he visit. A visit that wasn't worth it, a visit that only made matter worse.

Mum isn't as strong as before especially after losing her first child. So I have to do the fending for the family, dad called but mom doesn't want any of her children to pick his call and as it is Mom can never go back to be with him. She is so broken that she prefers being alone in the village with her children.

I love my both parents and I just wish everybody would be together and forget whatever it is that brought about the misunderstanding. I think there more to what I know but no one is telling me.

So my MAGICAL CHRISTMAS WISH IS FOR MY FAMILY TO LIVE TOGETHER AS ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY.

Just like the saying goes "If wishes were horses beggars will ride on it". So for now I have no plans for Christmas than waiting for the New year when work will begin fully so I can work and assist mom with the bills.
