The loss of a parent is devastating and can take time to heal. In the case of a terminal illness, you know it's coming, but when it happens, it still takes time. I know as I have been down the road you are currently on. I can tell you it will get better with time; take the time to grieve and don't deny yourself this time. 🙏

I can understand your likes and dislikes of the rainy season there in Nigeria. I can imagine the relief from the heat and the frustration of getting drenched along with the complication of the mosquitoes.
