Summer Storms-Summer floods

I have been less active online for a couple of reasons. Sometimes I just need a break.
We had a foundation crack and with the summer storms was the last straw. Out main bedroom was flooded. Luckiy nothing was damaged in the room but the foundation needed to be fixed and we needed new floors.

We have a spare room so it's not too bad but it is a bit of a disruptions. If anyone wondered why the @pixybot and @uni-coin bots were down for a few days , that's why. It's been kinda chaotic around here.

The timing was especially poor because we were just about to set up a pool. I know the irony. The pool is still being set up but it's now like a month after the planned date. We will still get use out of it this summer but it was a bit disappointing.

I am dealing with a flare on top of all this. My immunologist thinks I have psoriatic arthritis which is what I've been saying for years. So far no other doctors seemed at all concerned about my connective tissues tearing and scarring, me needing surgery (multiple surgeries actually. I'm gonna need another one on the left side)and my bones degrading(which can be seen on xrays which means this has been going on a very very long time). My labs as well as imaging are screaming there's a problem but most doctors just don't care about female patients. This is the norm.

I am now in two aircast type boots to try to avoid full ruptures in multiple tendons including both Achilies tendons. Yes this is extremely painful can be seen on imaging and the pain relief I get is...Tylenol. That's it.

If anyone is interested I may do a separate post on all this with pictures of the boots. They have pink liners and are kinda pretty.

Anyway I am getting a rheum consult to confirm the diagnosis and I will likely be put on biologics ASAP.

Finally an illness with actual treatments. That's gonna take some getting used to.
