Passion? Being passionate is a beautiful thing. It gives you unknown strength and courage to give your all to whatever it is you are doing. But in this world, I believe passion is a lost cause. I have seen people around me wake up doing what they don't like because of the profit generated because in this world, whether we like it or not, money speaks volume and with money, there's some level of Independence.
And, I don't like that. I don't do things I do not enjoy or find peace in. It gets me angry, but it is not just the anger but feeling out of place, and I end up messing things up. That's why I do not engage in things unless I am passionate about it.
Does that mean I am only passionately motivated?
No.
Motivation? I believe that as humans, the one thing that gets us motivated is the profit, especially if you are from the middle or lower class and you've seen the world around and miles away from you.
It fuels you to want to make it out of your comfort zone and be able to achieve your dreams(which I believe is your passion) and for dreams to be achieved, you need that profit because with that there's Independence.
I may not be too sure with a lot of things in life as there's still a lot of learning to do. But, one thing I am super sure of when it comes to getting motivated is that passion must be there then followed by the profit and, most especially, Independence.
I am a very big fan of freedom. Anything that deters me from getting that is always off my list without blinking. And I believe that's why I don't have passion for anything that cuts off my Independence.
Growing up, I have done lots of work and business, and what made me stop or leave these things is because of the two P's and I (Passion, Profit, and Independence). The moment I lose passion for work, I don't waste my breath staying even for a moment, no matter how profitable it can be. If the passion isn't there and it doesn't give me the freedom to live my life or explore other things, I am off without looking back.
And that doesn't mean the profit doesn't matter because it does. With profit, I know I can stand tall and explore as much as I need to, so profit is also a big motivating aspect for me.
