Loh Contest #206 ~ A Journey Filled With Different Experiences.
Has anyone here ever traveled to go visit their boyfriend? Well, it may not be something new to you all in foreign countries but to my people here in Nigeria, our parents are really going to scold us if we ever do that.
Traveling is one of my hobbies and if I could find my way, I may travel everyday of my life without having to worry about the funds.
There will surely be a travel experience that impacted me the most out of all I had.
What travel destination has impacted you the most, and why?
That day, I woke up very early in the morning to board the first bus. I was going from Lagos to Imo state which means I will have to cross six states before I get to my destination and it’s about nine hours journey.
When I was going, we had our first stop at a place called Ore in Ondo state. They speak my language but with a different dialect. That’s to show that the way I live my life here, there are also some people somewhere living their lives there. I ate their banana because they are very popular for selling big bananas.
After our fifteen minutes stop, we began the journey and we saw a dead body on the floor. I screamed as well as some other people. What could have happened to this young man? But mere looking at him, we could tell that he was a mad man who recently died.
If he were to be our family members, we might have waited and this means that no one really cares aside your family members.
When we got to a place called Onitsha, a guy snatched my friend’s phone from the bus and ran away. She screamed but there was no way the guy can be found. Immediately that happened, I held my phone dear to me. That’s how I learned about life in Onitsha that the young guys there are kinda full of evil jobs.
One thing I learned from this journey is that life is different in different places and people don’t really care if they are not your family members.

I applaud you for being so brave and making such a long journey. What a trip it was, so many incidents... Life is really different in different countries because of the culture.
