"A tree with strong roots laughs at the storms"
When I moved to the Philippines my entrepreneurial spirit was sleeping from years of working a job in the USA. I was looking for an opportunity when I arrived and found it in the tree of life. The coconut tree and more specifically coconuts define passive income like nothing I have ever experienced before.
A coconut tree can produce 50 to 100 coconuts per year. Depending on many factors but mainly the age of the tree. It takes 5 years to start producing fruit and can live to be over 100 years old.
Cutting coconut trees that are no longer producing coconuts from our land. We replant for sustainability to ensure long term generational income. In the pictures below you will see us cutting 17 unproductive trees. There is no other machinery used aside from a long chainsaw and raw skill. Hundreds of boards called coco lumber are cut and sun dried.
All the pictures and video's in this post were taken on my farm using an OPPO Reno Cellphone.
After the coco lumber is cut we dry it in the sun.
This is the only tool used for the entire process. If you look closely you can see him sharpening the teeth using a round file.
This is a sneak peak of what we did with all the lumber. I do not sell coconut lumber I use it for projects on the farm.
This is how the tree is laid for the cutting of the lumber strips.
On a very sunny day they are all laid out flat.
This is how they are stored before using them for a project
Here you can see the tree long getting ready to be cut and the saw being sharpened.
If you listen to this you will find out what the lumber will be used for. Follow me to see the lumber project.
Quick 10 second clip of the saw teeth sharpening.
Preparing for the building project.
You seem to be making profit every way to sunday :)
Keep it up and great post

Super cool my dude! Gonna have some happy goats out there!
Yes, Its going to make for a really cool article. I will take some good pictures and post them on my blog.
Interesting project. You didn't have to pay the workers?
I paid the worker 750 peso per tree. Compared to the lumber it miniscule.
I see. Well thats cool. Great deal 👌 👍
The coconut tree, the tree of life! Amazing what you can do with pretty much every part of the tree!
