My experience so far with Korean culture has come from K-dramas and K-movies.

The first thing I've learnt about Korean culture is bowing as a sign of respect. They bow to greet or even apologize. It is a beautiful thing to see. Also, Koreans address people, especially elders with titles a lot of times. This further goes to show respect. From this, one can see that the koreans take respect seriously and they regard age and hierarchy.

I've also learnt that Koreans take education seriously. It's one of the things I admire about Korea. Education is always a priority and the students are really good. They study a lot. The hard work is impressive. The parents also encourage and support the kids to work hard regarding their education.
The parents push their kids to be better and that's fantastic. I've seen from the movies how entry into schools can be tough and requires high level exams. Yet, the students make it in, with the constant push from their parents.

Another thing I've learnt about the Korean culture is that they dine together. I've seen severally from the movies how families dine together which improves bonding. It's a way of having good family time and it usually seems fun. The fact that they share meals together as a family just has a way of boosting love.
Still on family, I noticed that the reputation of the family is really important in Korea. The family name is crucial and should be associated with positive things.

From the movies, I got a glimpse of the work ethic of Koreans. Koreans are really hardworking. They can spend late hours as wells as early hours working. It's truly inspiring. There's the corporate lifestyle, healthy competition at work and respect for rank.

When it comes to fashion, Koreans are top notch. Koreans have a really good fashion sense and their skin is so smooth.

From this post, one can tell that I admire Korean culture and it is with good reason.
