The funny thing with the goals is that the crazier they are, the most probable is to happen. Me for example. The initial idea was to reach 5500 Hive for 2024 and become a Dolphin? so the aim was ten times bigger. I put 55K. And I did it. Last week when I check I had 91400 Hive. When you choose a great goal, ten times bigger, even if you fail, you may still do double than your initial amount. Or more. So, the deal with the big goals, for me, is that even if I fail, I will still do much more than rather achieving a small goal. Since I discovered this, I calculate my realistic goals, and then I at least double it. lets say you can save $5K per year, make a worthy goal of $10K then. And fight for it. In the end, it is not even the goal, it the amount of fight that you put to challenge yourself. That is the thing that change everything.
Go for big goals!
Oh yeah, and all the big achievements need time. Nothing is easy and done overnight.
Hehehe... I suppose it depends on the person... What works for you, doesn't mean it will work for me... I like to "finish" things, to accomplish goals, and that motivates me to create new ones...
I do something similar to you, when I create my yearly goals, I do calculate realistic goals, but not double them... rather put 20-30% higher than them... just to push myself a bit more... Saying that I will do 550K at the end of the next year has no sense as I don't plan to invest that much in HIVE, nor I can earn through rewards...
On the other side, everything is possible in crypto... Maybe HIVE goes to 1c, and I buy 500K :) But that would not be "my accomplishment", but rather (un)"lucky" event... 😃
