Good morning from here to my wonderful friends all over the world on #hive and my fellow #education lovers, its the third day of the week and i wish you all a wonderful week!
For many of us English is not our first language thats why people learn English vocabulary but still feel their sentences sound unnatural. Its not anybody’s fault, the difference just comes from small habits not really difficult grammar or something, because English is pretty easy.
That’s why i decided to teach us a useful habit which is learning phrasal verbs. Just like any other language, phrases are more relatable and easier to learn also theyre versatile such that one could be used across several circumstances.
English speakers use phrasal verbs constantly. Instead of saying “continue”, they say keep going or instead of saying “investigate”, they say look into something. Its easy in the sense that you can express yourself when you dont know what exact English vocabulary to use and in many cases the phrase still mean one gramatical word.
For example:
Look into] the problem
Carry on] with your work
Turn off] the light
The words half bracketed are the phrasal verbs meaning: check, observe, see] continue] off]

when you combine verbs and small words make it makes your English sound more natural and conversational thats why learning a few phrasal verbs each day can slowly transform the way you speak. Your sentences become smoother and more confident.
