What is an action movie without a little bit of romance and adventure? The Old guard 2 is a fantasy movies about a group of immortal that lives with mortals to create balance and stop the wrongs caused or planned by others.

The fight scene that stroke me in the movie THE OLD GUARD 2 is between Andromache and Quynh, their fight was not just physical but emotional,it was more like a fight to gain answers from someone you once loved but was betrayed by.

Quynh, who was trapped in an iron cast and thrown into the sea many years ago, came back alive, decided to fight Andromache with an intense anger that has been boiling within her for centuries, this is due to the fact that, she believed Andromache had refused to look for her, left her to remain in the cast to rot away even if they were immortal, what good is your immortality if you cannot walk and breath freely.

andromache and Quynh, although they were supposed to be immortal, andromache lost her immortality unknowingly to Quynh, this what made thr fight fair in my opinion.

The fight was more about their past feelings for each other, bringing out old wounds and unresolved issues, making the fight more deep.

It's like I want to injure you but I can't because of the love we both shared.

        What defines a good fight?

I believe a good fight is defined by It's purpose to begin with, the outcome of the fight and overall a fair weapon between the two opponents.

     What made the scene memorable?

For centuries Andromache and Quynh hasn't seen each other, the first sight upon seeing each was a mixture of love, hatred and fear especially from Quynh. Imagine going all out to seek out your lost only to be divided by lies and lack of trust imprinted into you by someone else.

      Why I selected this movie

Because the movie has adventurous element attached to it, combined with fantasy with great cast, for example the character Andromache is played by Chalize Theron, she is a great actress and the role suits her alot. It's a movie that can be watched by anyone old enough, no much spilling on blood which is usually seen in most movie.

       Do I enjoy fighting movies?

Yes I do, but romantic element should be a big part of the movie, to make it more enjoyable for me, movies like Mulan is another beautiful example, yes there is fight but there is also romance.

I believe preferences in movies is based on what resonate with an individual at that time. There are lot of movies to pick from, I would say, whatever movie maybe your choice, it should have an element of romance in it.

Today, writers, directors of movies understand their audiences more, I said this because alot of movies today, no matter the genre, there is always a storyline that depicts romance of some sort.
