CineTV Contest: Turning Red

The movie starts with a girl named ''Lee'' who was 13 years old. She was fond of doing everything as she wants to and lost in her own world. It doesn't mean that she doesn't obey her parents. She was obedient to her mother.

''Lee'' has three friends named ''Miriam'', ''Abby'' and ''Priya''. They enjoy themselves together after school. They like a town named 4 town and they listen to their music being excited. There was a temple in their house that belongs to their ancestors named ''Sang Lee''. The tourists visit there. ''Lee'' used to take care of this temple with her mother.

She used to tell the history of this temple to the tourists. Watching Tv with her mother ''Lee'' discovers 4 town will visit their place soon. She becomes excited and tells her mother that it is a famous group that played nice music. Many girls are their fans in my school but her mother asks her to stay away from those girls because you are not like them.

Later, when she sleeps she sees nightmares. There were strange animals and when she awakes in the morning sees herself in the washroom and gets scared. She was changed into a red panda. She gets panicked and tells herself this will be a dream and it can't be real. Hearing her voice her mother asks from outside is everything okay? ''Lee'' says yes everything is fine as her mother leaves she moves to her room.

She lay on the bed and makes herself understand this is a dream and I will wake up. She was changing into her real getup gradually as she was becoming relaxed she becomes fine. Later, she understands that whenever there will be emotional changes in her or she will become excited she will turn into that red panda. After it, she tries to keep herself relax.

Then her mother drops her at school and her friends think she is behaving strangely but she couldn't tell them what has happened to her? There was a boy in the school who teases ''Lee'' and it is happening the same today and ''Lee'' was feeling herself changing and running into her class. ''Miriam'' asks her are you fine? and she says yes, I am fine.

''Miriam'' tells her there is her mother outside the class and when she sees her mother was hiding behind the tree. She was fighting with a security guard and ''Lee'' loses her control and changes into a huge panda. Everyone gets shocked and her mother also gets shocked to see her. ''Lee'' runs from the school and just wants to reach her house.

As she reaches home her mother also arrives while following her. ''Lee's'' mother goes to her room and sees she is weeping while hiding and she tries to make her understand meanwhile, her father arrives. He says this happened to you as well and ''Lee'' asks what do you mean? Later, her mother takes her to the temple and was telling her the story of her ancestors.

She tells ''Sang Lee'' loves pandas and wished to change into a panda. Her mother tells there was a war many years ago and the men of the city went to the war and ''Sang Lee'' has to save her daughters and wished this. There was the full moon night and her wish was fulfilled and she was told that she can be changed into any animal. Later, she changed into a red huge panda and saved her daughter like this. This wish became e a curse and this was transferred to her daughters as well.

They also change into red pandas whenever they go through an emotional change. Her mother tells her there is a solution for all this and she will be fine after this. There will be a ritual performed on her on a full moon night and will be given a locket and the powers of the red panda will be absorbed in that locket. Her father tells her there will be a full moon on 25th and till then you have to control her emotions.

This will not happen again and then her parents give her a separate room with a bed. So she will not break things because of the emotional changes. ''Lee'' was upset here and was weeping that why this is happening to her? She was turning into a red panda repeatedly due to emotional changes and she was annoyed by this. Her friends come outside.

They were calling her but she asks them to leave and says I can't meet you. Being excited they tell ''Lee'' do you know 4 town is coming here? They can't think of leaving without seeing her. ''Lee'' was changed into a red panda being worried and calls her friends inside. They get scared seeing her but she asks them to be relaxed and tells them her story.

''Lee's'' friends control her and say no matter whether you are a human or panda we love you. As her friends hug her she turns into a human later, she was not changing into the red panda even though she becomes furious at her friends. ''Lee'' understands that now she can control this panda. She becomes happy that now she will be able to go to the concert later, they think of taking permission from their parents.

There is a huge problem for ''Lee'' and she tries to prove her patents that she has controlled the red panda after testing a lot, they believed, and then she takes permission from her mother. She refused and forbids her to go to the concert. ''Lee'' goes to her room in anger and then her mother received her mother's call.

It discovers ''Lee's'' mother is also scared of her mother. Here she tells ''Lee's'' mother that she has discovered ''Lee'' also changes into a red panda. She is coming to their home for making this fine. ''Lee'' and her friends were making a plan to collect money for concert tickets. They get a brilliant idea and ''Lee'' changes herself into a red panda and collects money from kids. Give money if they want to see red panda and they make viral fun videos.

They make panda products as well and they were selling them to collect money. After collecting a lot of money, they couldn't collect the ticket amount. The boy comes to ''Lee'' and tells her there is a birthday party at my home tomorrow. I have told everyone that the red panda will come to my birthday party? and if you will not come I will tell your mother how you are collecting money in the school? ''Lee'' asks for money in return.

The boy agrees to this and ''Lee'' was leaving for the birthday party the next day. Here, her grandmother and her cousins arrive who know about the red panda. ''Lee'' stuck in all this and on another side, the boy was waiting for the red panda at his birthday party. At night, ''Lee'' secretly moves to the birthday party and makes everyone laugh and they dance together.

They enjoy it a lot. When her mother comes to see her she finds everything there were panda products and an invitation to the birthday party. When she sees on the bed there wasn't ''Lee'' and on another side, ''Lee'' and her friends were happy as they have collected the money for the ticket.

There was an announcement and discover this concert is on 25th when they have to perform the ritual ''Lee'' comes in anger and changes into a red panda. She tells her friend she can't attend the concert after this hard work. The boy calls her and says I am paying you for something so come to me and entertain everyone.

This thing makes her furious and she attacks the boy while coming down. ''Lee's'' mother also arrives and gets shocked to see everything. The kids were frightened by ''Lee'' that she is changed into a terrible panda. The parents of the boy take him and ''Lee's'' mother scolds her friends they have ruined her daughter.

''Lee's'' friends say tell your mother we haven't done anything. ''Lee'' remains quiet and goes home with her mother. The time arrives and her friends go to the concert without her. The ritual starts and ''Lee'' was asked to sit in a huge circle. The people in the surroundings start singing a song and ''Lee'' was flying in the air. She has reached a different place and meets her ancestor.

She shows her a mirror and she has to move far from her panda while passing it. As she was moving far from it she realizes she doesn't want to move far from it. ''Lee'' was remembering all the moments she spent while being a red panda. She understands that she is enjoying all this. She wants this to stay forever.

She was escaping from this ritual and everyone was stopping her. Her mother was trying to make her understand this is better for her and this has to be ended. ''Lee'' tries to run from there but in all this her mother's locket breaks in which her powers were.

She runs to that concert and tells her friends that I am sorry that I didn't support you and they start enjoying the concert. ''Lee's'' mother changes into a huge panda and reaches the concert. Everyone was scared of her and they were escaping from the concert. Her mother lifts her up and says you have insulted me and her father also reaches there with others and draws a huge circle when ''Lee's'' mother was fighting.

Her mother falls outside the circle and it was a huge problem to bring her inside the circle. ''Lee'', her grandmother and others who were changed into red pandas bring her mother inside the circle. They were singing that song and reach their ancestor's world Her mother apologizes to her that she always tried to control her but you are better and can control everything.
Then they pass from the mirror one by one. They get separated from their red pandas. ''Lee'' decides to keep her red panda. ''Lee's'' mother also doesn't have any issue and then everything is shown fine. Whenever the tourists visit the temple ''Lee'' used to be there and tour the tourists as a red panda.
