Welcome to this week's new CineTV Community Newspaper. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend? Now let's sit back and relax a bit with our weekly newspaper!
CINE COMMUNITY UPDATE
We're dealing with the Bear Market and that's slowly seeping into CineTV as well. Developments continue, but all are slower. And that means that unfortunately I can't give you a community update this week. Waiting always takes a long time, and unfortunately that also applies to developments with our new frontend. We just want to make sure our new frontend is completely mindblowing before we put it online. That is not such an easy task, and unfortunately the development of this is taking a bit longer than hoped. I can assure you it will come!
The last thing I have for you this week is of course our latest writing prompt on Twitter! All you get is a "Keyword".
It's up to you to swing a phenomenal blog online. Which movie(s), or movie memories do you think of when you hear the keywords. The last is:

CINE CONTEST UPDATE
This week @caulderfreeman has put an excellent and very interesting contest This week we're looking a movie that made you fall asleep
Yeah, what is there to say about this subject. We all know the feeling of hard work. We all have been exhausted by that from timt to time. But ... don't be fooled here. There are many ways to interprete this theme. You can work really hard without even anyone seeing it. What is your interpretation? The submission deadline is 20th September, 2022, 11:59 PM, UTC time.
As you know by now, We love to read your personal stories, not only blogs written for the contest. Why is that one movie or series so special to you? What impact has it had on you? Did a movie or series change your mind about certain things? Just to name a few examples.
The fourth week of our Movie STAR of the week challenge! I still miss the extensive comments guys! You don't necessarily have to write a blog if you don't feel like it. It's fun, but I'm definitely also looking for the more extensive comments that make me laugh or that can make me shed a tear because of the emotion that is processed in the comment. I'm not looking for a movie STAR of the week life. I am looking for YOUR emotions.
Now that that has been underlined once again, it's time to see if we did better than last week. And unfortunately, the answer is NO.
This week there was 100 CINE to give away. We had just two comments on our newspaper about Angelina Jolie. And while there were two comments written about Angelina, it was just that. They were about Angelina. Not about why they love Angelina, or not.
I'll try to give an example in the kind of comment I would have written myself if I could participate myself:
The Movie STAR of the Week is Angelina Jolie. Angelina is the kind of woman I look up to. She has many things that I admire in her such as her humanity which can be seen in her adopted children. She is also a wonderful mother to these children. Imagine having her as a mother? And with her busy film career added to that, I think she's also incredibly good at managing her time. I dare not say if I could do that myself, but I certainly admire it in others!
Six children, a film career, single mom, and also busy traveling for humanitarian purposes. Does this woman still have time for herself? She just seems to be good at everything she does, it shows a strong character, good time management and a great work-life balance. Although I'm also aware of the fact that she's a damn good actress, and sometimes I wonder if she doesn't just act the 'perfect picture' in all public places and in reality she is much more dependent on other people for her time, her time-management and all the other activities she seems to do. Including raising her children.
I mean, I don't have six kids, I don't have a busy film career, I'm not active in traveling and humanitarian work... and yet I sometimes have trouble organizing my time to give my three dogs enough attention and all things to all my things done. And believe me, that's a lot less than what I see Angelina doing. Although she won't be doing any household chores herself again, and that takes up a lot of my time.
On the one hand I really admire her for what she shows, on the other hand I have my question marks ... she seems almost TOO perfect. And because of that extremely perfect picture, I can't really identify myself with Angelina Jolie. I'm simply not that perfect, and I can't imagine she would be.
I hope you can see the difference in what there was written and the kind of comment that we're looking for. Because we didn't find that this week, there are no winners for the CINE tokens this week. But no worries, we'll just add the CINE tokens to this weeks Movie STAR of the week.
So let's quickly move on!

SEE HOW THEY RUN
Back to the West End of the 1950's! Just don't believe it's going to be all glitz and glamor in this film. We're dealing with a murder, and it's going to have to be sorted out. Theaters that seem glamorous may turn out not to be at all. Sam Rockwell as Inspector Stoppard teams up with Saoirse Ronan as Constable Stalker to find out what's going on here. It will be clear that this is not going to be easy. West End doesn't give up its secrets so easily!.
THE WOMAN KING
A film based on the true life of one of the most fearless female warriors in African history. Viola Davis stars as the female warrior who protects her kingdom. She trains young recruits and teaches everyone that some things are worth fighting for.
AVATAR RE-RELEASE
A film that needs no introduction. A film that became a big hit in 2009 and where a re-release can be seen as the warm-up for AVATAR 2 that will be released in December of this year.
MOVIE & CELEBRITY GOSSIPS
One of my favorite parts of the weekly newspaper. The juicy gossip! I can't help it, I think it's one of the "guilty pleasures", which I will never admit after today. Because like everyone else, I always pretend that I'm not interested in that at all.

Now you may ask yourself what is so special about this, it seems to me to be completely normal that parents want the best for their child. And that they want to share these highlights together, if only for their daughter who will undoubtedly have been happy with the support of father and mother.
Many of the children of actors apparently have it in their genes to enter the Hollywood world of glitz and glamour. It's no different for John Travolta's daughter. Ella Travolta made her New York Fashion Week debut this week. Pa Travolta was incredibly proud of his beautiful daughter. And that is of course great news.
To be fair, John Travolta deserved some positive moments in his life. After the death of his wife Kelly Preston from breast cancer, and recently the loss of good friend Olivia Newton John, also to breast cancer, John has not had an easy time. Let's hope things are looking a little more positive for him now.
And of course the whole world is watching what is happening in England after the death of Queen Elizabeth. One of the things that apparently is and remains very important in England is formality. And whether or not to wear a military uniform!
There was quite a bit going on regarding that. Harry and Meghan took that step back, which meant Harry would apparently no longer be allowed to wear his military uniform. Kind of strange if you ask me, but hey, I'm no royalty connoisseur. And frankly, don't know anything about military rules.
Some hypocritical news, of course. The first photo in a long time of Kim and Kanye together. AFTER Kim broke off her relationship with a basketball player. Previously, there was apparently no possibility that Kanye wanted to be with her. Kind of weird...especially when you consider that this same Kanye herself is in a new relationship.
He is currently dating Candice Swanepoel and the relationship appears to be serious.
Good for daughter North that Kim seems to be a little less hypocritical.

“See How They Run” looks like a fun quirky mystery movie. I like stylish period pieces like these, the actors usually look like they’re having a lot of fun :)

Keanu Reeves? I think we all know he has made some darn good pictures, and he plays a wanna be rock and roller really well, with the Bill and Ted movies. In fact, we all know what number he is thinking!
That being said, I have to say that one of the few articles I have seen about the man in the news shows that he is one heck of a nice guy as he spent a lot of time chatting at the baggage claim with a young fan. How many celebs do this? Not enough! This says a lot about what kind of a man he is, and that he cares to take time to talk with his fans, not just about himself, answering their questions, but asking about them, engaging them in conversation.

When I first watched the movie "man of taichi", I thought Keanu Reeves was a Chinese and I immediately loved him though didn't surf the web for any information about him until I saw the film "John wick". I was forced to read more about this generous man who according to what I read has a good heart and gave away a substantial amount of his earnings from "the matrix" to charity in honor of his sister who battled leukemia.
I saw that's he's also of an American, British and Canadian nationality which makes me question myself if he was born out of threesome?(just kidding btw) maybe he earned one of his nationalities.
Reeves is one of the highest paid actors which makes him stand out amongst others and also has received many awards. I remember in 2020, when New York times (I follow them a lot) ranked him to be the fourth on its list of twenty five greatest actors of this 21st century. That made my love for him increase more as I tend to love actors according to their ranks, achievements and personality in the movie industry.
He does look like a Japanese and if I weren't earlier informed, I'd have argued with everything in me that he he's of a Japanese nationality. His face and style of hair speaks so much of the Japanese people.
I've watched a few films he stars in which are;
The lake house
John wick series (though I didn't watch the 2019 chapter just saw the trailer).
Man of taichi.
The matrix
The man of taichi was the movie that made me love Keanu Reeves as his taekwondo skills was amazing.
There are several films about him that I haven't seen yet but I'm anticipating the next chapter of John wick which is said to be released in 2023. I've watched a lot of films but if by any chance I stumble on one that stars Keanu, it's always a go,go for me. He's a man of great personality and I like him so much because to me he seems to live a private life not putting much about himself out there on social media etc.
It's my first time reading the cinetv newspaper and there are lots of cool gossips here. I've been following up the Kardashians for quite a long time and also been waiting to see those two(Kim and Kanye) together again and here it is😁. I'm kinda the happiest on the planet right now even though they only stepped out that way to honor their daughter. I did fancy their relationship though, I love em both and wish their daughter could pull them closer again. Lol
As for England's news, I'm not pretty interested in all these royal talks because their protocol is too much for my brain to comprehend. They should leave the poor Harry and Megan alone.

And if you are asking me why am I so in love with this guy, it is because I like his attitude towards life. He believes in himself and that's why he is so successful.
His thoughts about day-to-day life are very inspiring for me. He says that self-confidence is the key to success. One cannot help being confident if he is not sure of what he is doing. Be positive in life and believe in yourself because you're perfectly capable of doing whatever you're setting your mind to achieve. One thing that I'm gonna remember from him is " dream big and always stay focused". That's it...
I also like him because he stayed in his lane. Unlike many people in Hollywood he didn't leave the acting life to try other professions. He also has a laid back personality that I can relate to. He seems very humble by not letting his fame get to his head.
His sense of style is one thing that motivates me, I like to wear black clothes but I can not stand it outside my home, but when I see him wearing black clothes on red carpet events, It helps me to wear it outside also
I like his attitude towards work. He does not try to be perfect in everything but he has faith in himself and his work.
His ability to claim about 4 countries baffles me a lot. Though he is a Canadian, still He can be either American, British or Lebanese by nationality. Having more than one nationality is something I crave for.
So if you are still wondering why I love him so much, now you see he has so many qualities I like and how great of a role model he is.
I really appreciate Keanu reeves for staying true to himself. And I wish to be like him.
Keanu Reeves looks awesome to me. Like his personality as well as his acting, in one word, he is a neat person, always he lives a different kind of life, it has become an ideal among many. If you want to know my opinion, I will say that my friends think he is amazing in one word.
I'm not really going to write much about this guy Keanu Reeves. But I hope the few words I tell will be able to let you know how I respect this humble actor.
Maybe one of the reasons we all love Keanu Reeves is because of his great looks. He is obviously an attractive man from a distance, and he has starred in a number of memorable roles, such as John Wick. The reason I adore Keanu Reeves, though, is different. In actuality, Keanu Reeves is the epitome of a truly nice person, not just a legend of the silver screen.
Am I to talk about his random acts of kindness like when he secretly donated large sums of money to the children’s hospitals. And the time the plane he boarded made an emergency landing and he opted to take the road instead of riding on an empty bus alone he had to let other passengers from the plane ride with him.
Or the time she stopped his car on his way to an appointment just to sign a fan's autograph. It's been reported that he returned over 75% of the profits from the Matrix to the makeup and special effects crew in appreciation for their outstanding job. I could go on and on, on how amazing this beautiful soul is.
Most times I wonder if it was because he had a rough ride growing up, but on second thoughts there are other people that didn't have it easy growing up yet they don't have human compassion and humility as Keanu Reeves.
One beautiful lesson I learn from Keanu Reeves lifestyle everyday is that money just emphasizes what is already inside of you; it does not alter or change anything. Judging from Keanu's case, fame and money only strengthened the kind man he already is. I am very confident that the reason he is still very well-liked and relevant today is because he's such a decent person.
Wow! Keanu Reeves for this week is a good pick, I am in for this, awesome!, let rock and roll begins.

One of the things I admire most about Keanu Reeves is the capacity for detachment that he has shown throughout his life, I think he is a person who understands that beyond the need to make money or have an economic position full of comforts and luxuries, the human aspect must be rescued. I make reference to the way he leads his life with a unique humility, you always see pictures of him, taking the underground as someone ordinary and helping others, this is something incredible to me, perhaps because they are symptoms of a person who understands that what is really important is to try to be a better person every day.
In my case I am trying to cultivate in me, to be much more empathetic, maybe sometimes we pass by when we interact with people and we don’t stop to pay attention, sometimes we can help a friend who is in trouble or just needs to be heard. Let’s be honest, it is not at all easy to be there for people who need us, but we must try to make the time to rescue that authenticity that makes us more human.
I must clarify that there is no need to have a lot of money to be a better person, I in particular have a clear vision that consists of “simple life, high thinking”, that is to say; I know that material things have an expiration time, of course being a millionaire would not be bad hehehe, but I know that cultivating spirituality has much more weight in my life. That’s how I’m somehow impressed that Keanu has not been seduced by Hollywood and stands firm in his position to help without asking for anything in return.
So I guess if I knew him, I would ask him what is the practice that has kept him grounded? Maybe it’s easy to say that humility is something that anyone can adopt, but believe me, it’s not that simple, since it’s not a fad to try to be a better human being, it really depends on a true transformation. Having a coffee with him would be really nice, since it’s something that I like too much and of course it’s a good way to start a good conversation hehehe.
I would tell him that sometimes I doubt myself and that I am impressed by his ability to make things possible and how he is so sure of himself. Undoubtedly, confidence is fundamental and even more so in the artistic field, but people like me still feel a huge nervousness when speaking in public, I think that’s why I would ask him for tips to improve this stage fright.
