Hello CineTV

Disney is still a huge brand that brings to mind icons like Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy. Not to mention the wide assortment of Princesses; like Ariel, Jasmine and Snow White. These days Disney has been struggling to come up with new ideas but the legacy of Disney is still vast.

I want to thank everyone that took the time to enter the Disney contest. I hope it brought back some childhood memories. I am sorry for the delay in between contests, I swear I am trying to get better about publishing these on a regular basis.

Favorite Movie Featuring a Mother

Yesterday was a special day in our house! In America we celebrated Mother's Day on Sunday, May 11th and I got to spend the day before that with my Mom and then the 11th with my wife (mother of my two boys) and my mother-in-law. It was a great weekend. On top of all of that, my oldest son was born on Mother's Day in 2008 and celebrated his 17th birthday again on Mother's Day! It's always on a Sunday and changes dates over the years so it was a really cool convergence of Mother's Day and my son's birthday again. :)

This got me thinking, there has to be some fun movies that have outstanding mothers that we could make a contest about them. So for this contest, I want you to highlight a movie with a special Mother character and tell us why it was special to you. What about the Mother character drew you to this choice? Is this a good or bad Mother figure and why? Does this character remind you of your Mother or another Mother-figure in your life and how? How do you celebrate Mothers in your culture?
