I remember reading the novel Peter Pan around the year 2015 (a bit later or earlier) and I loved it. It has an Aesop of not falling into imagination and accepting reality, which is interesting considering the story does the opposite for the majority of it.
Didn't know Disney was adapting it again, but considering the direction Disney is going in, I'm not too excited about anything they do lately.

I agree with you, that Disney is filled with all kinds of new stuff we never had to witness in our childhoods. Same for Netflix shows btw, every show (whatever it's about) contains some woke stuff they push through our noses. Don't get me wrong here, I have nothing against how anyone feels/is personally, I just don't agree with the way it's being pushed through our noses and is definitely part of an agenda to brainwash the masses.
I see it every time, my boyfriend gets very annoyed as soon as he sees it, I just remind him that it doesn't work anyway if you're aware of what they're doing. Just letting it slide is best.. until they present the next thing to push through our noses. It's been like this forever but many haven't noticed it yet.
For me Peter Pan was something I saw in my childhood, I never read the novel btw, but maybe one day I should. Many movies from my childhood are only seen in the adaptation and never read the actual novel. I will consider getting some of these books in the future (for my daughter).
Thanks for stopping by!
I recommend Peter Pan novel because it's really short. (About 100 pages at most.) It's sad that it seems some people want to change what's acceptable in the world, (and according to what I call the "tolerance slope" works they'll probably succeed,) all we can do is to educate and delay the (potential) inevitable.
