The Meg is a 2018 science fiction thriller film directed by Jon Turteltaub The film is based on the novel Meg A Novel of Deep Terror by Steve Alten The film revolves around a team of scientists who discover a massive sea creature thought to be extinct the megalodon a giant shark that lived in previous geological times.

The performance
Jason Statham plays the hero Jonas Taylor and he gave a strong performance that matches his character in films that depend on action and excitement Statham is distinguished by his ability to present action scenes in a realistic and exciting way which is clearly evident in this film.
