In Bucharest, about 3-400 euro:D So compared to some other destinations in Europe, it's a steal. I've always wanted to live in London for a while, but at such prices... maybe when I become a millionaire :D

I think it really depends on the type of apartment you want to rent and most importantly, the location. In Spain, tourists concentrate around the coast for beaches within walking distance. After I sold my house in Torrox (East of Malaga), I needed to be there last February for the paperworks, and I rented a private studio with 1 bedroom that cost me 800 Euros for a month, including water, electricity, and internet; it is a few steps from the beach and to all amenities One can always talk for a discount particularly if you know the owner.

It would be good to compare this with the minimum income in each country

In Spain in general you can get good apartments for around 1000 euros a month outside the center of big cities.

I don't know about all those countries but looks like at Madrid (I suspect it is a central region) the rent is higher than the minimum wage. And in Lisbon it is almost double the minimum wage.

I don't know how Europe will solve this housing crisis... I mean just building more houses is a start but still everyone wants to live in the same centers, even tourists.
