Was sagt ihr dazu?

For a long time, video games didn’t have a good image in the mainstream and were either ridiculed or dismissed as an addiction. Some politicians even wanted, or still want, to ban video games because they are potentially harmful to young people.
In the meantime, however, this view seems to be shifting somewhat, at least from a scientific perspective, and the topic is now viewed in a more nuanced way.
Sure, there are still risks, but gaming also seems to have a positive impact not only on reaction time but also on mental and cognitive health. As always, it depends on many factors, what games you play, for how long, etc. but overall, this assumption sounds plausible.
What do you think? Do you think gaming has a much greater positive impact than the mainstream has previously assumed?
I believe that the game is better for good old people than sudoku table
I made for my studies, a 20 pages thing about games and microtransaction in games, basically what happens to some people that end up depressed or addicted to games, well its not really the games themselves that are addicting its just that in a lot of cases people are isolated socially/having other problems in life and thus have an excessive use of the video games -> these people tend to also smoke/drink/etc or replace it by playing games.
(little addon for the video games is benefical to mental health, in case someone says you can get addcited to it)
