Total solar eclipse over Spain, partial over Europe. Have you seen it?
Gestern Abend gab es über Spanien eine totale Sonnenfinsternis. In Wien war sie nur partiell und leider von der Stadt nicht so gut sichtbar, da sie mit dem Sonnenuntergang zusammenfiel. Von der Donau aus konnte man sie aber mit einer Schutzbrille verfolgen, wenn man noch eine bekommen hat.
Habe die totale Sonnenfinsternis von 1999 ungefähr zur Mittagszeit erlebt, das war beeindruckend. Für ein paar Sekunden ist es wirklich relativ dunkel geworden.

Last night there was a total solar eclipse over Spain. In Vienna, it was only partial and, unfortunately, not very visible from the city since it coincided with sunset. From the Danube, however, you could watch it with protective glasses, if you were able to get a pair.
I experienced the total solar eclipse of 1999 around noon, it was impressive. For a few seconds, it really did get relatively dark.

Ich habe nur drinnen gesehen, dass es dunkler geworden und dann wieder heller.
Hatte keine Brille, daher hab ich gar nicht geguckt.

Die totale Sonnenfinsternis in 1999 war super cool. Da war ich am Meer und man sah alles einwandfrei; da ist auf einmal komplett dunkel geworden, dabei war es erst Mittag. Ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Gestern fehlte mir die schicke Brille, aber einen Unterschied abends merkte man schon.
