Somebody vibe coded a Photoshop app, because Photoshop sucks, this is getting insane

Jemand hat eine Photoshop App vibe gecodet, da Photoshop bzw. Adobe nerven. Die Compositor App ist derzeit aber nur für Mac verfügbar, und hat ironischerweise noch keine KI-Tools wie Generative Fill etc. inkludiert, unterstützt aber bereits Layers, Adjustment Layers, Selections und einfache Bearbeitungswerkzeuge. Es fehlen aber noch Retouching Tools und Farbfilter und sicher noch viele andere der Tausend Features, die viele User aber ohnehin kaum verwenden oder wissen, dass es diese überhaupt gibt.

Mittels Vibe Coding ist es mittlerweile möglich, populäre Apps nachzubauen, das Problem ist aber wie immer das Marketing und die Monetization der Apps. Es wird immer einfacher eine App zu implementieren, aber das Problem ist dann, wie man die App vermarktet und sich von der Konkurrenz abhebt.

Jedenfalls eine extrem spannende Entwicklung nicht nur für die Software-Branche, Web-Designer und Marketing-Agenturen.

Was sagt ihr dazu? Welchen Impact wird KI eurer Meinung nach auf Web-Agenturen und Software as a Service (SAAS)-Anbieter haben? Denkt ihr man wird in Zukunft noch Abos für einfache Plugins und Themes abschließen, wenn man die in kurzer Zeit selber vibe coden kann?

Someone vibe coded a Photoshop app because Photoshop and Adobe sucks. However, the Compositor app is currently only available for Mac, and—ironically, doesn’t yet include AI tools like Generative Fill, etc., though it already supports layers, adjustment layers, selections, and basic editing tools. It’s still missing retouching tools and color filters and surely many other features out of the thousands available though many users hardly ever use them or even know they exist.

Thanks to Vibe Coding, it’s now possible to recreate popular apps, but the problem, as always, is marketing and monetizing the apps. It’s getting easier and easier to build an app, but the challenge then becomes how to market it and stand out from the competition.

In any case, this is an super exciting development, not just for the software industry, web designers, and marketing agencies.
