Denkt ihr, ist etwas Wahren dran an diesem Chart? Sind IPOs in Wirklichkeit Liquidity-Exits für frühe VC-Investoren, die anders als Retail-Investoren die Aktien wirklich günstig gekauft haben. Beim IPO könnte es schon zu spät sein, vor allem wenn die Aktie bereits als Billionen-(US Trillionen)-Marketcap-Aktie bewertet wird.
Psychologisch können neue Aktien tatsächlich in den ersten Tagen oder Wochen wegen dem ganzen Hype steigen, jedoch wenn der Hype nachlässt, könnte es dann zu einer Korrektur kommen. Pump & Dump. Langfristig kann der Trend dann aber wieder bergauf gehen, wenn es sich um ein attraktives Asset handelt.
Kauft man nicht, steigt die Aktie.
Kauft man, crasht sie.

Do you think there’s any truth to this chart? Are IPOs really just liquidity exits for early-stage VC investors who, unlike retail investors, bought the shares at a low price early on? By the time of the IPO, it might already be too late, especially if the stock is already valued at a trillion-dollar market cap.
Psychologically, new stocks can indeed rise in the first few days or weeks due to all the hype, but once the hype dies down, a correction could follow. Pump and dump. In the long term, however, the trend can turn upward again if it’s an attractive asset.
If you don’t buy, the stock goes up.
If you buy, it crashes.

It's never a good thing to buy on IPO day. That is the day that I consider as the institutional investors selling out to get their profits. I think it will follow a general trend and stay deadish for 9 months at least, and I honestly think we need to see how profitable things are because I think Starlink is probably their largest profits.
Insiders generally cannot sell their holdings for the first 90-180 days after an IPO, so that is something to consider. I know that the rules have been changed specifically for spacex and the time that insiders need to wait was significantly reduced to a tierd system starting at 70 days. For me, I would probably wait until after that period at a minimum. I just think that they are going to dump their holdings. The company is essentially multiple businesses that are not profitable all combined into one company. I wouldn't touch that stock regardless, for multiple reasons. I don't care if it does end up doing well and I miss out. But thats just me.
Another reason to wait, but there is also the 133% rule, which allows VCs to dump significant amounts of their stake earlier than the lock up period.

staatlich unterstützter scam.
mir wäre es ganz recht wenn diese ganzen riesen endlich einmal fallen, scheitern und wir wieder kleine dezentrale strukturen bekommen. firmen vor ort die dem wohle der menschen dienen, im einklang mit der natur und nicht gewinnmaximierend die welt in schutt und asche legen. dabei ist es egal ob sie google, microsoft, amazon oder space x heissen. leider habe ich bisher bei sämtlichen aktiengesellschaften bei längerer beschäftigung aspekte gefunden die ich moralisch verwerflich fand.
kann ich verstehen, jedes Unternehmen hat auch eine dunkle Seite, so wie Menschen auch, aber es gibt auch einen großen Vorteil von Aktiengesellschaften, das beste Feature von Kapitalismus, jeder kann sich Aktien kaufen und so am Gewinn/Wertschöpfung von Konzernen teilhaben.
kann jeden verstehen und es nachvollziehen, der da gewinne abschöpfen und auch etwas abhaben möchte. ich für mich habe da jedoch ein riesen problem. ich möchte nicht an gewinnen partizipieren die beispielsweise durch kriege, kinderarbeit, ressourcenraub oder durch miese arbeitsbedingungen erwirtschaftet werden.
den kryptomarkt finde ich da etwas angenehmer. da wird zumindest kein direkter gewinn mit der produktion von glyphosat oder waffen erwirtschaftet. da gibt es zwar genau so viel lug und trug wie in den anderen märkten aber wenigstens unterstützt man nicht direkt irgendwelche ausbeutungsmechanismen auf kosten der umwelt oder der ärmsten der armen.
