Hello everyone, it is another week on Music Zone community with our unique Hive Music Festival event, week 38 round 02.
Today I'm here to present a sweet melody that rocked the world around the years 2017 and 2018, DESPACITO.
Despacito is a Spanish song by the celebrated artist Luis Fonsi. It was released in 2017 and became a worldwide hit such that people from various countries and languages hummed and danced to the sweet tunes of the melody, whether they understood the lyrics or not (lol, I'm not an exception).
The song became so popular that it won multiple Awards in multiple categories. Also, the song became so popular worldwide but only a few people outside the Spanish world knew the Artist. Yea, you know sometimes songs get popular without carrying the artist along, I think it was the case with this song (in respect to the non-Spanish world). However, I believe that he is a well known artist who has contributed so much to the Spanish pop and rock musical community. In fact, bringing Despacito to the world was part of his greatest achievement to his career and to the Spanish pop musical community.
Yes, it is a really lovely song, one that I enjoyed and still enjoy. I cannot help but dance to the groove or vibe to it whenever I hear this song, and I'd also joyfully sing a fake lyrics, since I don't know the Spanish lyrics by heart (lol), don't blame me (lol).
Well, since I can't sing, I believe my guitar will help me to sing it.
In this piece, I played a creative guitar cover of Despacito. Here, I created a loop instantly in between the presentation (after the intro) which served as my instrumental.
Honestly, it isn't an easy thing to do as it requires precision and mastery of the loop function, as well as the timing and flow of the song.
I hope you enjoy this cover.
