I’m truly glad to be part of the last contest of the year, and the topic Gratitude is a very interesting one.

The year 2025 has almost come to an end, and it arrived with so many blessings, insights, and even a few challenges. We laughed, and at times we cried, but through it all, God remained faithful and fulfilled His promises in our lives. I sincerely appreciate @qccommunity for giving me this opportunity to pause, reflect, and count my blessings one by one.

What are you grateful for in 2025?

I am grateful for so many things that I may not be able to mention them all, but I will highlight the most memorable ones.

First and foremost, I am deeply grateful for good health, a sound mind, and life itself. Staying alive from the beginning of the year till the end is a huge blessing that money cannot buy. Not because I was more careful or more righteous, but simply because of the mercies of the Lord—I was not consumed. Throughout the year, I never slept hungry nor lacked any good thing. The Creator of the universe supplied all my needs according to His riches in glory.

Moreover, I am very grateful for achieving most of my 2025 goals. In previous years, I set goals but barely achieved 10% of them. However, this year, God blessed me with a wonderful mentor who guided and supported me. My financial, career, personal development, and spiritual goals were largely achieved, and that alone brought me great joy and fulfillment.

What 5 great moments from 2025 will keep in your heart?

Five special moments from 2025 I will always cherish

One of the happiest moments of the year was a morning I went to school without even remembering it was my birthday. To my surprise, one of my students presented me with a birthday gift. Though small, it meant so much to me. Even I, the celebrant, had forgotten the date, but that act of love touched my heart deeply.

Another unforgettable moment was when I narrowly escaped an accident while returning from work. I was almost hit by an oncoming vehicle because I was dropped at the wrong spot. That day remin
ded me strongly of God’s divine intervention—without Him, the story could have been very tragic.

This year also brought joy to my family as my younger sister found her life partner. Both the traditional and church weddings were beautiful moments. I reunited with loved ones I had not seen for many years, which made the celebration even more special.

Another memorable moment was the end-of-year party organised in my school. We celebrated God’s faithfulness from January to December and also the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. It was a joyful time shared with students and educators alike.

Lastly, one of the most exciting moments happened in the early hours of the 22nd of this month when I received a generous alert from a parent of one of my students. It was a token of appreciation for taking good care of her child. I was extremely grateful, especially as it came at a time when I was facing several expenses.

In conclusion, 2025 was truly a blessed year for me, and I trust that the coming year will be even more fruitful.
